Our Story

So what is Musical Thrivival^TM?  It is a delicious blending of two things; the opportunity for children to thrive musically in the stimulating and supportive music environment we provide; combined with a revival of parents' and caregivers'  experience of uninhibited, joyful, informal music-making! 

Music Together of Chester founder, Cynthia Dreeman Meyer, experienced Musical Thrivival eleven years ago as parent sharing the Music Together® program with her newborn son, and quickly realized that she wanted to bring this experience to other families.  Music Together's joyful, interactive approach to music education, the jubilent group-dynamic of the class, and the synergistic bonding experience with her child, inspired Cynthia to make a dramatic career change from trial lawyer to Music Together teacher.  Eight years later, in 2007, Cynthia founded Music Together of Chester and moved the program to its present, beautiful loft-studio location in the heart of Chester, NJ.
