Our Classes

For information on our 2010 Summer and Fall classes offerings, please click on the class schedule link, below right!

Weekly 45-minute classes include songs and rhythmic rhymes in a variety of meters and tonalities.  You and your child will have the opportunity to play musically under the guidance of early childhood music specialist and Center Director Cynthia Dreeman Meyer.  Activities include small and large movement, community singing, and instrument play.  These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers to participate in, regardless of their own musical ability.

Tuition includes:

  • 10 weekly 45-minute classes
  •  2 professionally recorded CDs - one for home and one for the car!
  • A beautifully-illustrated Songbook with activity suggestions
  • For new families, a Parent Guide DVD called "Music Together at Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically"
  • Ongoing parent education program throughout the session to help parents learn how children develop musically, and how to assess their child's rhythm and tonal development
